March 16-19, 2018
I’m delighted to present a pre-conference on Thursday morning, March 16, It Takes More than Two to Tango: Building Secure Attachment through Hypnotic and Ego-State Relationships.” I will also offer a plenary (keynote address) on Relational Safety as THE Treatment for Trauma and Pain: Polyvagal Contributions to the Countertransference Trance also on Thursday.
Other conference highlights include my participation in a panel on the Hypnosis and the Psychotherapy Relationship. These are some of my favorite topics these days. It would be great if you could join me!
And, according to local advertising, there are at least 138 attractions to visit in Orlando—one of my favorites is SeaWorld, though you can have a more intimate experience of holding and swimming with baby dolphins at Discovery Cove. If you have kids, they will find lots of entertainment and so will you (visit here).

I am looking forward to attending the Energy Psychology conference sponsored by ACEP (the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology), and one of my favorite events. If you have never attended one of these, I highly recommend that you do.
The lineup of keynotes alone is worth the price of admission: James Oschman, Dawson Church, Tony Robbins, Anodea Judith, Donna Eden and David Feinstein, among others. But there’s much more including 45 2-hour learning labs/ breakout sessions, high quality pre and post conference events, and some new formats this year.
I will be presenting one of the Quantum (TED) talks on Saturday afternoon: “How to Guarantee Success in Trauma Therapy.” Please join us!
I am also looking forward to presenting at the Somatic Experiencing 2018 conference sponsored held in Potsdam, Germany (24 kilometers from Berlin). The theme is Unity, Variety, and Diversity Embodied: Resolving Trauma and Restoring Goodness in the World. Keynotes include Peter Levine, Stephen Porges, Kathy Kain, Marianne Bentzen and others. The conference is co-sponsored by the European Association of Somatic Experiencing (EASE) and SE® Deutschland e. V.
I will be presenting a lecture, “Achieving Unity in an Age of Divisiveness through Somatic Ego-State Therapy® and also a workshop, “How Somatic Ego-State Therapy® Can Help Clients Shift from Surviving to Thriving. Choose from over 200 workshops and special events.

One of the unexpected pleasures in Zurich during the summer is Mythenquai Beach, Lake Zurich’s first sandy beach (no really!). There are also beautiful panoramic views of the Alps, wonderful museums, and delicious dining opportunities. Please consider joining me in one of my favorite destinations!
